Tutoring with Pri offers personalised tutoring services (online and inperson) for students from Kindergarten to Year 12, designed to help every student thrive. I use humour and fun, engaging lessons to make learning enjoyable, helping students feel excited and motivated to attend and participate. By connecting with students on their level and tapping into their interests in the modern world, I tailor each lesson to what captures their attention, creating a supportive environment where confidence grows and learning truly sticks.

About Pri
Hi, I’m Pri (Afrida Mamun) — the founder of Tutoring with Pri. I’m a private tutor with over 3 years of experience, based in Sydney, Australia, and I’m passionate about helping students reach their full potential through tailored, engaging learning. I graduated from Amity College with a 90+ ATAR and went on to complete a Bachelor of Civil Engineering at UNSW.
Tutoring is something I chose because I’ve always believed that every student is capable of succeeding when they’re taught in a way that makes sense to them. I know firsthand that learning isn’t one-size-fits-all, and I’m passionate about breaking concepts down in a way that feels approachable, relatable, and even enjoyable. Seeing a student go from feeling confused or discouraged to confident and capable is what drives me.
What brings me the most joy is building genuine connections with my students — understanding how they think, what motivates them, and what holds their attention. When learning becomes fun and students start wanting to show up, ask questions, and challenge themselves, that’s when real growth happens. Being part of that transformation, whether it’s improved grades, increased confidence, or a renewed love for learning, is incredibly rewarding.
Tutoring allows me to make a meaningful impact beyond the classroom. Knowing that I’m helping students believe in themselves, develop strong study habits, and reach goals they once thought were out of reach is what makes this work so fulfilling. For me, tutoring isn’t just about academics — it’s about empowering students, and that’s why I’m so passionate about what I do.
